Airport Industria The Industrial area situated at the Cape Town International Airport can be categorized under Airport Industrial North (Matroosfontein), Airport Industrial (Boquinar), Airport City and the latest proposed development opportunities of Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) known as Precincts 1, 2 and 3. Located centrally within the Cape Metropolitan Area, with links to Somerset West/Strand and the Cape Town CBD along the N2; Parow Industrial and Bellville through Modderdam Road; and the major industrial areas of the Northern Suburbs along the R300.
Multinational manufacturing, distribution and construction companies have been operating from this area for the last fifteen to twenty years, although the latest trend has been to allocate single owner operators from the warehousing, freight forwarding and distribution industries.
